Gail Wehrs Trutwin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gail Trutwin, age 73, who left us peacefully on February 14, 2025. Gail was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, humor, and love touched the lives of everyone she met. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially her cherished moments by the lake, which brought her peace and happiness.

A celebration gathering will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Bryant Lake Regional Park Pavilion in Eden Prairie. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents (Verne & Jean), and her beloved husband of 43 years, Jim, and although they are now reunited, the love they shared will continue to inspire those who knew them both.

 Gail is survived by her sons, Josh (Sheri) Trutwin of Eden Prairie and Luke (Debbie) Trutwin of Prior Lake; grandchildren, Alison, Jamison, Zachary, Emily and Hudson; brother: Don (Debbie) Wehrs of Thatcher, Arizona, five dear sisters, Becky Hemshrot of Phoenix, Arizona, Ginny (Bill) Keating of Henning, Bonnie (Jerry) Ohm, Sue (Larry) Brown both of Rochester, and Terrie (Chad) Campbell of St. Charles; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Her legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will live on in the lives of those who were fortunate to call her family and friend. We love you Mom/Grandma, you will be missed!
